Dianne Harrison is president of California State University, Northridge. Previously, she served as president of California State University, Monterey Bay. She served for nearly 30 years at Florida State University, in various capacities including faculty member, dean of social work, associate vice president for academic affairs, dean of graduate studies, and vice president for academic quality and external programs. She serves on the board of the Association of American Colleges and Universities and executive board for the California Campus Compact. Harrison received a B.A. in American Studies and an M.A. in social work from the University of Alabama, and a Ph.D. in social work from Washington University.
